Hey Guys!

In my history class we are currently studying the early American settlers that traveled across America towards The West. We are looking at all the reasons they chose to come here and what inspired them to. Now, we are each going to dig deeper into this topic and think about if we, as individuals identify as "A Child of The West" or not.

I personally do identify as a "Child of The West." Though I partially come from French heritage, I was born in The West and have always lived here; most of my friends live here too. Another reason that I "identify" with where I live is because I use and enjoy many of the resources that The West has to offer, here in California. For example, I love going to the beach, (even though it can be freezing, its still pretty to look around, and take pictures) another one of my favorite things to do is to go shopping downtown, this is always really fun too because of the sunny weather we always have here.

                            

I'm curious to find out in the comments if you guys "identify" with where you live as well. Or, if you think of yourself completely differently.
